Vaction to Oregon

I have been slacking in getting the blog done-but now that school is back in session I can get a few things done.
Our summer started with a trip to Oregon to visit family. My aunt and uncle live in Pendleton and Jeff's parents live in Keiser. It was a great vaction and we did alot of things. On the way to Keiser we stopped in Cascade Locks to see the town and the Sternwheeler, Bonneville dam/fish hatchery, and Multnomah Falls. The girls had never seen such a large waterfall. We rode MAX(their version of TRAX) into Portland and went to the water front to see the Navy ships that had come in. They were letting people take tours-so we did that.
We spent a full day at the coast-going to Lincoln City and Newport. The girls thought that was awesome to finally see the ocean and play in the sand on a real beach. They could have spent days out there. Jeff even got the barbie kite to fly!! The Newport Living Sea Aquarium was fun to see.
Went to the Portland Zoo and saw alot of things that they had never seen.
The girls had a great time visiting with grandpa & grandma. I think the highlight of the whole vaction for Jeff was going up in a small airplane with my cousin Scott. He even let Jeff fly the plane and gave him some instruction.
Scroll down to see the pictures from our vaction!!
